“Across all that I do, I work to break echo chambers, build bridges, and foster community.”

Therapy.

I am a generalist with training in hospital, inpatient, community clinic, and university counseling center settings. I work with adults of all backgrounds, life experiences, and diagnoses, and I have specialized training in trauma, resiliency, social justice psychology, women’s mental health, and reproductive mental health.

I am not currently taking new therapy clients, but reach out to hear about any future openings.

Individual Therapy

Therapy can offer different roads to healing, and I work with clients to figure out the one best suited for them. No topic is off-limits, and there’s no challenge we can’t find growth in. I see therapy as a collaborate partnership and draw from relational, multicultural, dialectical behavior therapy, and cognitive behavioral therapy techniques, among others.

Perinatal Therapy

Pregnancy and the postpartum period carry an immense amount of change that can be daunting. Perinatal therapy can therefore be a crucial ingredient in your journey through new parenthood. In this realm, I help clients work through loss, identity shifts, and major life changes so that they can emerge from this period of adjustment grounded, fulfilled, and connected to their newness.

Couples Therapy

Relationships are foundational to who we are, and couples therapy can help you grow your primary relationship. I work with couples to foster connection, partnership, support, and affection in places that have long grown cold. I take an eclectic approach to couples therapy that helps you learn how to have constructive conflict and grow together instead of apart.

Group Therapy

Discontent lies in disconnection. Group therapy can serve as an antidote to that. Unlike other forms of therapy, the group setting provides a unique interpersonal lab for learning, healing, and connection.

Consulting.

Through my work at Nascent Consulting, I help organizations cultivate wellness from the inside out. At Nascent, we take a psychological, wellness, and social justice approach to everything we do. We find potential within organizations and foster it by tailor-making programs that uniquely fit the needs of each community.

Speaking.

I love bringing mental health topics to unexpected places. I am frequently asked to speak on panels, at events, and within organizations that are looking to help their employees thrive so that the organization can thrive along with them.

I have spoken on topics as varied as building resilience in the workplace, addressing mental health in the workplace, preventing and alleviating burnout, women's health, what real self-care looks like, boosting mental wellbeing, combating mental health stigma, and fostering self-love.
